Our purpose at Biblical Theology on Tap is to help every man and woman better understand the Christian God of the Bible: what he says, what he’s done, and how we should respond.  We do this by discussing theology from an exclusively biblical perspective.

We affirm the Five Solas of the Reformation:

1. Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible is our highest authority. (2 Peter 2:20; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 2:16)
2. Sola Fide (“faith alone”): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:21-28; Ephesians 2:8)
3. Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone. (Romans 3:21-28; Ephesians 2:8; John 6:44)
4. Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King. (Colossians 1:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 1:1)
5. Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Every contributor on our website is an individual in good standing in their local church.
